কামৰূপী লিপি[3] বা পুৰণি অসমীয়া লিপি[2] (ইংৰাজী: Kamarupi script) প্ৰাচীন কামৰূপ ৰাজ্যত পঞ্চম শতিকাৰ পৰা ত্ৰয়োদশ শতিকাৰ আৰম্ভণিলৈকে ব্যৱহৃত লিপি আছিল। এই লিপিৰ পৰা আধুনিক অসমীয়া লিপি অৱশেষত বিকশিত হৈছিল।[4] অসমীয়া লিপিৰ বিকাশত এই পৰ্যায়ৰ পিছত মধ্যযুগীয় আৰু তাৰ পিছত আধুনিক অসমীয়া লিপিৰ পৰ্যায় লাভ কৰিছিল। যদিও এই লিপিৰ বিকাশ বংগ আৰু বিহাৰৰ বিকাশৰ সৈতে একেলগে হৈছিল,[5] ইয়াৰ কিছুমান স্থানীয় বিশেষত্ব আছিল।[6] ইয়াৰ পশ্চিমে প্ৰচলিত লিখনিৰ কৌণিক আৰু কেলিগ্ৰাফী শৈলী এই বিকাশত পোৱা নাযায়।[7]

ইতিহাস সম্পাদনা কৰক

কামৰূপী লিপিৰ উৎপত্তি গুপ্ত লিপিৰ পৰা হৈছিল।[8] গুপ্ত লিপি ব্ৰাহ্মী লিপিৰ পৰা বিকশিত হৈছিল। এই লিপি কামৰূপত নিজে বিকশিত হৈছিল। কুমাৰ ভাস্কৰ বৰ্মায়ে কৰ্ণসোৱৰ্ণত থকা তেওঁৰ সামৰিক শিবিৰৰ পৰা জাৰী কৰা নিধানপুৰ তামৰ ফলিত খোদিত তাম্ৰলিপিত কুটিল লিপিৰ বিশেষত্ব গ্ৰহণ কৰিছিল।[9] কিছুমান পণ্ডিতৰ মতে কামৰূপী লিপিৰ উৎপত্তি কুটিল লিপিৰ পৰা হৈছিল যদিও এই মত বহুলভাৱে গ্ৰহণযোগ্য নহয়।[10]

এই বিকাশকালত কামৰূপ শিলালিপি খোদিত কৰা হৈছিল আৰু সেইবোৰে এই সময়ছোৱাত এই লিপিৰ বিকাশ প্ৰদৰ্শন কৰে। পঞ্চম শতিকাৰ উমাচল শিলালিপি আৰু নগাজৰী-খনিকৰগাঁৱৰ শিলালিপিৰ লিপি গুপ্ত লিপিৰ প্ৰাচ্য প্ৰকাৰৰ সৈতে প্ৰায় একে।[11] এই লিপিৰ পৰায়ে দ্বাদশ শতিকাৰ কানাই-বৰশীবোৱা শিলালিপিত ব্যৱহৃত প্ৰাক অসমীয়া লিপি বিকশিত হৈছিল।[12]

এছ এন শৰ্মাই লক্ষ্য কৰিছে যে ষষ্ঠ শতিকাৰ পৰা দ্বাদশ শতিকাৰ সময়লৈকে সম্পৰ্কিত অসমীয়া লিপিক প্ৰাচীন কামৰূপী লিপি বুলি ক'ব পাৰি। কামৰূপী লিপিয়ে পিছৰ সময়ছোৱাত পুৰণি অসমীয়া লিপিৰ ৰূপ লৈছিল।[2]

বৈচিত্ৰ্য সম্পাদনা কৰক

মধ্যযুগৰ শেষৰ ফালে কামৰূপী লিপিৰ তিনিটা ভিন্নতা দেখা গৈছিল। প্ৰথমটো হৈছে গড়গাঁও অঞ্চলত প্ৰচলিত গড়গঞা, দ্বিতীয়টো হৈছে সংস্কৃত গ্ৰন্থ প্ৰস্তুত কৰাত ব্যৱহৃত বামুণীয়া আৰু সাধাৰণতে ব্ৰাহ্মণসকলে এই লিপি ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিছিল। তৃতীয় তথা অন্তিম ভাগ কায়স্থসকলে ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিছিল আৰু ইয়াক কাইথেলী বোলা হৈছিল। কাইথেলী লিপিক কামৰূপত "লাখৰী" বুলি কোৱা হয়।[13]
