বংগমাতা (বঙালী: বঙ্গমাতা), বাংলা মা (বঙালী: বাংলা মা) বা কেৱল বাংলা হ'ল বংগৰ ব্যক্তিৰূপ।[1][2][3][4][5] বংগৰ নৱজাগৰণৰ সময়ত বিকশিত আৰু পাছলৈ বাঙালী জাতীয়তাবাদীসকলে গ্ৰহণ কৰা[6][7][8][9] এই বাক্যক বৰ্তমানে গণপ্ৰজাতন্ত্ৰী বাংলাদেশৰো প্ৰতীক মনা হয়। বংগমাতাত "মাতা" বা "মা" শব্দই কেৱল জীৱবৈজ্ঞানিক মাতৃত্বকে নহয়, বৰং মাতৃত্বৰ সৈতে জড়িত সংৰক্ষণ, প্ৰেম, চিন্তা, আৰু জীৱনৰ আৰম্ভণি তথা অন্তকো বুজায়।

ব্ৰিটিছ ৰাজকীয় সংগীতৰ ঠাইত ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিবলৈ বংকিম চন্দ্ৰ চট্টোপাধ্যায়ে বংগমাতাৰ প্ৰশংসাত "বন্দে মাতৰম্‌" নামৰ গীত তৈয়াৰ কৰিছিল।[10] ৰবীন্দ্ৰনাথ ঠাকুৰৰ দ্বাৰা লিখিত, বাংলাদেশৰ জাতীয় সংগীত "আমাৰ সোনাৰ বাংলা"তো কেইবাবাৰো বংগক "মা" শব্দেৰে সম্বোধিত কৰা হৈছে।

১৯০৫ চনৰ বংগ বিভাজনৰ সময়ত বংগমাতাৰ ছবি বাংলা ভাষাৰ গীত আৰু কবিতাত জনপ্ৰিয় হৈ উঠিছিল, বিশেষকৈ হিন্দু বঙালীসকলৰ মাজত।[11] এই সময়তে "ধনো ধান্য পুষ্প ভৰা", "বংগ আমাৰ জননী আমাৰ" আদি গীত ৰচা হৈছিল।[12][13]

বাংলাদেশৰ মুক্তিযুদ্ধত 'স্বাধীন বাংলা বেতাঁৰ কেন্দ্ৰ'ত দেশপ্ৰেমমূলক গীত প্ৰচাৰিত হৈছিল।[14] তাৰ মাজৰ কেইবাটাও গীতত, যেনে "জন্ম আমাৰ ধন্য হলো মাগো" আৰু "বাংলা আমাৰ বাংলা মা আমি তোমাৰ কোটি সন্তান" আদিত বংগক মাকৰ ৰূপত কল্পনা কৰা হৈছে।
