Also, I would like to tell you that, before the community translation existed, people could fill up a form and send them translations (now it's not available). At that time, other Google projects were also available for localization. So, Google search was translated into Assamese by the community. But, since that is not available now and translations are not updated. Now, the company get their projects translated by professional translators or translation agencies. Many of their apps and services (like YouTube, sheet, gmail, etc.) are now available in Assamese.
