: Based on the program above, my two paisa: It could begin with people picking up a copy of the FAQ (an abridged version of the one that Gitartha translated, plus an abridged version of "How to edit a Wikipedia article") at the door. This document is "take home". It might help to have name tags, so people can approach each other (চিনাকী পৰ্ব). As people settle down, there could be a welcome, when Jyoti Prakash introduces a veteran Assamese Wikipedian for a short intro to Assamese Wikipedia. We need to nominate a person (or a couple more) to do this. After the introduction, we will welcome Shiju (গামোছা), who will then represent the Foundation and state policies, beginning with the more formal stuff and progressively become more informal---a demo for editing, and finally a workshop, when people will try it out on their own, helped by the senior Wikipedians. The seniors can show some examples of "featured articles" from the English wikipedia (the Kaziranga page was a featured article, but was demoted at some point). Those interested can then attack the sah-singara. So the program begins like a meetup, becomes a workshop and degenerates back into a meetup. So we will need spare laptops and internet connections.
