Assamese Language and Christianity

The Assamese Language is greatly indebted to Christianity in the sense that its early refinement, development and some great contributions were done by Christian Missionaries, to be specific the American Baptist Missionaries. Some of the early developers/contributors were Rev. Nathan Brown, Miles Bronson etc.
