This template is intended to link ICD-O-3 codes provided on Wikipedia to the Progenetix database.

Although it can be used in article prose; the template is primarily intended to be nested within the {{medical resources}} template.

Please note that an ICD-O morphology type code is expected. If you have a topology type code (i.e. C00-D48), please use the {{ICD10}} template.

Parameters

This template has 2 parameters:

{{ICDO|morphology|behavior}}

• morphology - The 4-digit ICD-O morphology code. (The M-prefix prefix is automatically added, and should be omitted.)
• behavior - The 1-digit ICD-O behavior code

Examples of use

The ICD-O-3 code 8720/3 is for "Malignant melanoma, NOS". In this example, the Progenetix URL will look as follows:

• https://progenetix.org/cgi-bin/subsets.cgi?term_id=icdom:8720_3

Using this template, it will show the external link to the Progenetix website as follows:

• 8720/3: {{ICD0|8720|3}}: M8720/3
