I have given 2 better sources about Rama. Griffith's source about Rama has false information where he states that in "Ashvamedha Yajna" King Dasharatha slaughtered animals & Queen Kaushalya slept with the dead horse. Even Dayananda Swaraswati talked about it in his book "Styarth Prakash". So, we better not give any false information about how Rama born. Here's Dayananda Swaraswati's book. https://archive.org/details/LightOfTruthORSatyarthaPrakashMaharshiDayanandSaraswati/page/n91/mode/2up?id=erdpEAAAQBAJ&q=Sacrifice Even Maneka Gandhi explained it in "The Statesman".

So, please don't give Griffith's English Ramayana which includes false information.

Wikipedia aims to describe disputes, but not engage in them. The aim is to inform, not influence. The neutral point of view does not mean the exclusion of certain points of view. It means including all verifiable points of view which have sufficient due weight. So if you want to keep the view of Dayananda Swaraswati, then you should also consider the view of Griffith. You can't be biased.

I'm not biased. Griffith mistranslated the word. So, we better give false information to others. Even there's no mention of killing animals in Yajna in "Krittivasi Ramayan" https://archive.org/details/in.ernet.dli.2015.302459/page/n35/mode/2up You can read this too if you want & Krittibas wrote Ramayana even before Griffith. We have not said that that information is correct or incorrect, that will be judged by the reader. Our aim is to inform the reader that there is also an English translation about Ramayana.

A politician & a Sanskrit scholar said it. If a Muslim reads this, he/she will never judge it and take it as truth. Cause they don't research like Hindus. Ok, then I'll put that source underneath of all the sources. And I'll write mistranslation behind it.

@Usoejw9: We should not remove any verifiable source and therefore both Griffin and Rajagopalchari source are kept. Wikipedia is not for interpreting if anything is right or wrong. It provides all the statements/sources so that the readers can decide for themselves. So, please stop removing it again and again. Thanks. ---Chandan Chiring Phukon Chat 09:53, 1 মে' 2022 (ইউ.টি.

@Chandan Chiring Phukon you don't know about the readers and what they'll decide. The Muslim readers won't decide what is wrong and what is right. So, they'll take Griffith's mistranslation as the truth as they don't research like us, Hindus. So, there's already Griffith's source in "অতিৰিক্ত পঠন". You should stop adding Griffith's mistranslation as reliable source again and again. Thanks.
@Usoejw9 By the above statement you seemed to be presenting your personal POV rather than NPOV. If Griffins source is mistranslation, as you say, then you are welcome to back up your statement. If the majority of the local community decides so then it may be removed. -Chandan Chiring Phukon Chat 10:29, 1 মে' 2022 (ইউ.টি.
@Chandan Chiring Phukon that's not my personal opinion. You can't believe what he mistranslated about Ashvamedha Yajna in his book. Here see for yourself.

@Chandan Chiring Phukon we're still not slaves of British people. If you want another reliable source then I can add Sastri's English translation of Ramayana. But not Griffith's mistranslation.
This does not address anything relating to backing up your above statement. -Chandan Chiring Phukon Chat 10:53, 1 টি.

How many times I have to tell you? This is not my personal statement. I've given you a politician & a Sanskrit scholar's statement & 2 sources in English which doesn't include killing animals in Yajna. And one source in Bengali too. You wanted to keep Griffith's source. So, it's given in "অতিৰিক্ত পঠন". Please don't add it as a reliable source as it's proving controversial according to a politician & a Sanskrit scholar.
