Thanks for your msg. I try to work on English, Assamese and Bengali wikipedia. (Although I can understand little Nepalese, I can't make much of it!)

Right now I am trying to learn/copy/create templates and fix structures of th Assamese wikipedia.

hello,

I am not able to type asomiya correctly,

when I type, vowels are attributed to the succeeding letter rather than preceding letter. for example I type 'jeevan'. this is shown as if I am typing jveen. if I type eeJavan that also does not work. This makes reading very difficult, this will be very critical for making this site popular.

can you help on this?? Also, I have requested admin rights on Assamese wiki can you please support me

Hey thanks for your interest in the Assamese Wiki....we really appreciate. BTW would you know where I can edit the general Article Submission Template tom increase the font size? I am so f****** pissed off by the small fonts in Assamese version. I change it and somebody changes it back to small fonts...guess thats what wikiing is about...

For your information, I am not a spammer and I have never vandalised any Wikipedia articles before. I am only politely asking for translation help. It is up to them to decide whether or not they will choose to help me.

Also, for your information, I am not the only person asking for translation help.

• User:Pietras1988 has already asked numerous wikipedias (188 in fact) for translation help on his hometown of Kurów. (In fact, last year you yourself had helped this same polish user translate his favourite article Kurów into the Nepali language - even though Kurów has got absolutely nothing to do with Nepal!).
• User:Herr Kriss has also asked numerous Wikipedias for the translation of his dear hometown of Katowice.
• User:Peter Ret has also asked numerous Wikipedias for translation help of his hometown of Mošovce.

All of these users have asked politely for help and none of these Wikipedians have ever vandalised any Wikipedia.

WIKIPEDIA IS A FREE ENCYCLOPEDIA. Since all religious denominations are allowed to inform others of their beliefs and practices, then my Christian denomination should also have the right and priviledge to do the same.

WHo is the administrator of the Assamese wikipedia?? And I do not see any user profile of Sangeeta!! There are some changes to be made on the fiesrt pagein the welcome box as the language there is not quite Assamese

Eukesh, Your contribution to assamese wikipedia is commendable, Please note that assamese 'ৰ'is getting typed as 'ৰ' in your articles. also with 'ৱা' as 'ব', this is due to using bengali script, please ensure we type correctly as this will lead to link problems between pages

we dont use 'ৰ' instead we use 'ৰ', this ('ৰ') cannot come with transliteration script you have down loaded and also 'ৱা'

Importing from bangla

Eukesh, once again thanks for the support you are giving, However, i dont subscribe to the idea of importing bangla articles and improving them, rather we can take the English articles and translate them.

Can you please help me in setting the templates in states correctly, please see here নাগালেন্ড্, the template at right hand side is not coming correctly, that needs to be set properly. can you please do some work in this Regards

Hey Eukesh, thanks for doing everything possible to make my sysop access possible! Now I need your help. Can you tell me how to edit the NAVIGATION and TABS of the Template? CAnnot find them anwhere. Its mostly to change the font size!

BOTS and other activities

Eukesh, Thanks for continued support and interest in Assamese Wiki. I am not able to spend much time up to 10th of June. I feel currently let us understand and follow a structure and run the bots after some time. let this be slow but we will do them concretely. memebers are understanding how to write edit etc. let the maturity grow in all of us before going to run Bots, we will definitely contact you for any help

Hey Eukesh, there are some people who have recently joined the Assamese wikipedia as contributors. Within days of joining, one of them has requested me for nomination as a sysop. My idea is: before you request for Sysop you need to first work a couple of months in the respective wikipedia. Do you think I am right in making that point?
