তেওঁ প্ৰথমে চেণ্ট জোচেফ এণ্ড মাৰি স্কুল, নিউ আলিপুৰ আৰু পিছত নেচনেল হাই স্কুলত পঢ়াশুনা কৰে। তেওঁ কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়-কৰ্তৃক পৰিচালিত ভবাণীপুৰ ইডুকেশন চচাইটি কলেজৰ পৰা স্নাতক হয়। পিছত তেওঁ সিহঁতৰ পৰিবাৰৰ ব্যৱসায়ত যোগদান কৰে।[2][3] তেতিয়া সৃজনশীল কামৰ প্ৰতিও তেওঁৰ সম উৎসাহ আছিল। মাজে মাজে তেওঁ বিখ্যাত অভিনেতাসকলোৰ অভিনয় অনুকৰণ কৰাৰ চেষ্টা কৰিছিল। তেওঁৰ বন্ধু ৰাজেশ চৌধুৰীয়ে তেওঁক সৃজনশীল জগতলৈ ভাগ্য পৰীক্ষাৰ বাবে মাতে।
